During the morning of Saturday, May 13th, 2023, we participated in cultural activities by creating a workshop event within the Stigma Festival organized by the Sanamente network.
The proposed action consisted of open workshops for the entire community in the city’s central plaza.
In the morning, the Paint The Change project was presented on an open radio program, where partners from www.gruppophoenix.eu, www.aile.gov.tr/ankara, and www.redsanamente.org introduced and informed about the activities carried out, their objectives, and the future of our project.
Art Brut workshops were held for all those who wanted to participate and experience firsthand the artistic techniques we are implementing in our organizations. Similarly, the Italian delegation completed the sculptural work «The Head Can Be of Iron or Can Be of Feather.»
This pictorial installation was displayed for several weeks in the city’s cultural center. Taking advantage of the morning, works by some local artists were also presented, showcasing their live works to the entire community.
It is also worth noting the positive reception from the media, inviting us to interviews on their radio stations to promote and raise visibility for the PAINT THE CHANGE project. Representatives from www.gruppophoenix.eu, www.aile.gov.tr/ankara, and www.redsanamente participated in these interviews.
